I loved shooting Victoria and Nick's wedding in Stamford, Connecticut this past summer. Victoria got ready in her parents' house in Darien. I always adore a home setting because it lends such intimacy to the getting ready photos. And the front and back yards are usually a perfect spot for some quick natural shots of the family before heading to the ceremony.
Victoria really stunned in her Oscar de la Renta gown, Michael Kors shoes, and an exquisite necklace by Paris Tiaras (by Debra Moreland). They were fun to photograph against the dark shiny pavement, made all glowing that day by the drizzling rain. It just goes to show that a rainy wedding day can still make for beautiful photographs!
Oh, and the Loading Dock is a really nice venue: loft-like feel with cool industrial buildings outdoors, which make for a fun backdrop for the couple and bridal party pics.
