I loved shooting Victoria and Nick's wedding in Stamford, Connecticut this past summer. Victoria got ready in her parents' house in Darien. I always adore shooting at home because it adds so much intimacy to the getting ready photos. And the back yard is often a great spot for some quick shots of the family before heading to the ceremony.
Victoria stunned in her Oscar de la Renta gown, Michael Kors shoes, and an exquisite necklace by Paris Tiaras (by Debra Moreland). She’s a woman with a strong sense of her own style. She looked amazing against the dark shiny pavement, made all glowy that day from the drizzling rain. It just goes to show that a rain on your wedding day isn’t all bad news — it can make for beautiful wedding photos!
Oh, and the Loading Dock is a really snazzy venue: loft-like feel with interesting industrial buildings outside, which made a cool backdrop for the couple and bridal party pics.
